Funding paths to employment

Funding paths to employment

European Social Fund (ESF) Community Grants of up to £20,000 are available to third sector organisations to support disadvantaged unemployed and inactive people, towards employment.

Grants will fund projects that can be delivered before the end of 2022 and which:

  • engage with marginalised individuals and support them to re-engage with education, training, or employment.
  • will support a range of activities aimed at assisting the disadvantaged or excluded to move closer to the labour market by improving their access to mainstream ESF and domestic employment and skills provision; and
  • will provide support to the hardest to reach communities and individuals, especially those from deprived communities, to access employment or further learning and training.

The Coast to Coast Panel (which covers Surrey) will aim to allocate the rest of the grants available to organisations that deliver projects within Reigate and Banstead, Epsom and Ewell, Mole Valley, and Tandridge,  and who target ideally but not exclusively BAME, 50+, No Basic Skills and who are Economically Inactive.

Further details regarding the Community Grants can be found on the website of the London Learning Consortium (grant administrators).

The next closing date for an Expression of Interest is 25 March 2022 (to be considered at the Panel meeting on 6 April 2022.
