Sarah wanted to offer help during the coronavirus outbreak. She registered with VARB and we referred her to Age Concern Banstead. Sarah sent us this lovely message following her first food delivery:

“I did some shopping deliveries for Age Concern in Banstead this week. My 8-year-old son Arthur came with me as my navigator, staying in the car – he felt really happy he could help the vulnerable citizens of Banstead.

My parents are self-isolating and haven’t left the house for a month and I know how much they need my support at this time, so the thought of people having no family or friends who are able to help really breaks my heart. It means a lot to me to be able to make a difference.

It’s so lovely to see all the hard work agencies like yours are doing coming to fruition, making sure help is getting to people who need it most.”
