Morgan Sindall Ragwort Clearing

Morgan Sindall – Team volunteering with Downlands

In Business Case Study by Nina Porter

Over the summer of 2018 a team of volunteers from construction company Morgan Sindall took part in a range of environmental volunteering tasks.  The volunteers were supporting the Downlands Partnership, that manages countryside sites across East Surrey.  The photograph shows two team members clearing ragwort in the Surrey Hills.

The Downlands Partnership runs conservation activities all year round.  Teams of 5 or under can join in with the main programme – see here for details.  Larger teams can be accommodated but need to book in advance to ensure management support is available.  (There will be a small charge made for larger teams to cover staff costs).
