Mary Frances Trust provides wellbeing support for stress, anxiety, depression, bipolar, hoarding and any other mental or emotional health issues through one-to-one sessions, courses, groups and activities. They are a LGBT friendly charity, their services are open to all.  Based in Leatherhead but also provide services across Epsom and Ewell, Mole Valley, Banstead and Elmbridge from a variety of venues.

They are putting on a variety of courses over the next few months.

MIND OVER BODY – Diabetes Management Course – This 6 week course will be run by Centre for Psychology.  It will help you to learn Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to improve your wellbeing related to your diabetes. (A telephone assessment with Centre for Psychology is required to be eligible for this course).   Start date:   Monday 16th March 2020 – 6 weeks – Times:  10am-12pm- Venue in Banstead.

HORTICULTURE FOR WELLBEING – This 5 week course will be run by Work Stress Solutions.  The sessions will help you relax, develop a sense of calm through engagement with nature. The activity of gardening helps with motivation, physical wellbeing, reduces anxiety and improves sleep.  Enhance your self esteem through enjoyable and practical achievement in gardening.  Suitable for beginners & experienced!  Learn practical skills for your garden or pots at home:  Soil testing, Sowing seeds, Growing edible plants, Making an attractive seasonal planter.  Start date:  Tuesday 25th February 2020 – 5 weeks – Times: 10.30am-12.30pm – Venue Banstead Youth Centre, The Horseshoe, SM7 2BQ.
