Funding for Coronavirus response – Community Foundation and many others

Local Funding available from Community Foundation for Surrey

  • Community Foundation for Surrey have opened their emergency grant fund to support community and voluntary organisations who are responding to the Coronavirus covid-19 crisis.  Priority will be given to voluntary organisations providing support to the most vulnerable and isolated.  Grants of up to £5000 are available.  Full details available on the Community Foundation for Surrey Website here

Other Funding Sources 

  • Charity Excellence, a platform which focusses on fundraising, has created  an extensive list of funders (updated every Monday) that are responding to Covid-19.   They also have some good resources to help with creating a response plan and undertaking a financial assessment.   • Government Support – Some of the government funding for businesses is also available to charities – see here for details
  • The Government has recently announced £750 million of support for charities.  Details of how to acces this are not yet available.
