As it becomes increasingly clear that Covid-19 will be with us for some time, organisations are now starting to assess what this will mean for their future plans. This is not an easy task. To assist, VARB is working in partnership with local charity support network, Skylark to deliver an introductory workshop and series of individual surgeries that will help you and your board think through some of the challenges and develop your plan of action.
Virtual Workshop on “Strategic Planning in the age of Covid-19” – Tuesday 19 May 1pm – 2pm
An introductory workshop on strategic planning, delivered by Skylark Charity Support Network and aimed at managers and trustees of smaller voluntary organisations. The workshop outlined processes that organisations can use to develop their strategic action plan. A copy of the slides is available to download here Download
Virtual Strategy Surgeries – Tuesdays 1pm – 2pm
For organisations who want further guidance on developing their future strategy, Skylark are offering individual virtual surgeries. These could be 121 with the lead manager or a small group session involving your trustees and wider team. A Strategy Surgery will be available every week on a Tuesday from 1pm to 2pm, over the next couple of months, bookable on a first come first served basis. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a surgery.
