Community Safety Funding
Grants are available for voluntary sector organisations in Surrey to deliver projects that improve community safety or reduce re-offending.
The Surrey Office of the Police and Crime Commisioner is now offering small and standard grants for 2021/22.
For 2021/22, the PCC has allocated £538,000.00 to support local groups to reduce crime and disorder. A further £270,000 has been ring-fenced for reducing re-offending.
How to Apply
There are two ways to apply for funding from the Community Safety and Reducing Re-offending Funds:
Organisations seeking funding of £5,000 or less can apply online using a streamlined application procedure. Small Grant applications can be submitted at any point during the year. Once received the application is scored and a recommendation made to the PCC. Once the decision is made the applicant will be informed.
The process is completed within 14 working days.
Standard Applications are for organisations seeking funding in excess of £5,000. Applications can be submitted online. A panel of experts, who meet on a quarterly basis, will assess the applications. A final decision is made by a smaller panel, including the Police and Crime Commissioner.
