East Surrey College is a vocational college based in Redhill that offers further and higher education courses to over 2500 students and 1000 community learners. In order to remain open for vulnerable students, the College is establishing a Covid-19 testing centre to test staff and students over the next few months.

The College is seeking volunteers to assist with two roles within the test centre:

• Volunteer Test Assistant – will provide guidance and supervision to staff/students on swabbing as requested.  Collects completed swabs and passes them to the Processor. Ensures cleaning of swabbing desks.
• Volunteer Processor – Prepares test samples for analysis, conducts processing of Lateral Flow Device (LFD) and interprets result. Provides results to Results Recorder. Ensures cleaning of processing desks.
