This is a free workshop aimed at volunteers and non-profits who are new to digital fundraising. The workshop concentrates on the increasing importance of using digital to raise an online profile and to attract funding through online donations.
Its aim is to equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills needed to develop digital fundraising tools on behalf of voluntary or community organisations. It is also suitable for volunteers who want to build their fundraising skills, to improve their employability within the voluntary sector.
The workshop will be delivered via zoom and will take place over 2 two hour sessions, a week apart.
Session 1 (of 2) – Wednesday 2 December 10am to 12 noon
The first session will cover the following:
• what is digital fundraising
• what are the digital fundraising tools available
Session 2 (of 2) – Wednesday 9 December 10am to 12 noon
The second session will cover the following:
• the donor journey
• planning a digital fundraising campaign
The training provider is Suzie Tobin from Voluntary Support North Surrey. Suzie has a wealth of experience in applying for funding and in supporting local organisations to access funds. This course was previously delivered in Oxted in February 2020 and feedback received was excellent.
This is an interactive training workshop. Numbers will be strictly limited to 6 participants. To be eligible for a place you must either live in the Borough of Reigate & Banstead or volunteer/work for a voluntary organisation that is active in the Borough.
This training is complementary to the “Grant Applications” training. You are welcome to apply for both courses. However, if demand is high we may only be able to offer you one course. Please indicate your first choice.
