Alcoholics Anonymous is holding a public information event in the Guildhall in Guildford on Wednesday, 11th March 2020. It’s not only a chance to find out who we are and how we help people with drinking problems but also for you to ask questions and to find out more information on how we can work with you and your teams.
The event is expected to run from 2pm until 4.30pm with time before and after the AA presentation (14.30 – 16.00) for light refreshments and general discussion. The meeting will comprise a brief introduction to AA, a summary of the problems caused by alcohol in modern society and a short ‘demonstration’ AA meeting run by some of our local members. This will be followed by a Q&A session so that you can ask any questions arising from our presentation.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a UK registered charity (number 226745). Our help is free of charge, we have no waiting lists and our meetings are local and easy to find. They take place every day – even on bank holidays. Furthermore, we offer help and support to our members for life.
