Association of Chairs : The impact of Covid-19 on charities’ employees and governance
The Association of Chairs is running this webinar which is free of charge to AOC members or those who have registered with the free Beacon Programme. (This free programme is aimed at Chairs and Vice Chairs of smaller charities in England with an annual income of under £1 million.)
Our NEW Expert Insight Sessions will give you the opportunity to hear from an expert, ask questions and discuss with fellow Chairs and Vice Chairs.
In this session, Nick Hobden will discuss the impact of Covid 19 on charities employees and governance, including Furlough Leave and how to conduct good Governance in difficult times. He will also discuss the welfare of staff working from home.
Nick Hobden is a Partner at Thomson Snell & Passmore LLP with experience in handling all aspects of employment law, but particularly advising charities on complex, highly confidential, sensitive and difficult issues ranging from governance to internal processes.
The session will be held over the online platform, Zoom, enabling you to see the expert and others joining the session face to face.
The session will begin with the expert giving a short presentation on a particular topic. There will then be opportunity for you to ask questions, share your own learning and experiences and to hear from others.
