About this Event
Taxes impact charities in many ways. They can be costly and navigating the tax system can take up valuable time that small charities could better spend on other activities. But there are also many tax reliefs available, including ways to maximise your fundraising income.
The Charity Tax Group [CTG] works to simplify tax issues for charities, running a monthly “what you need to know” email and regular training events. This short session will provide an overview of topical issues including Gift Aid, Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme, Business Rates, VAT and COVID-19 grants.
