Tech for Good: stories and learnings from charities, funders & support team
About this Event
In 2019, CAST was appointed as the main support coordinator for the cohort embarking on Tech for Good, a programme funded by Comic Relief and Paul Hamlyn Foundation. Not-for-profit organisations received around £50,000 each over a nine month period to explore different approaches to delivering better services that help people, organisations and communities.
Over the nine month programme, Tech for Good teams benefitted from online and in-person support including focused mentoring, development webinars and peer learning as they navigated their digital journey and developed services designed to meet specific user needs.
As the Tech for Good 2019 programme wraps, we bring together the outgoing charity cohort, along with funders, partners and coaches to celebrate grantees’ achievements and share learnings to help the wider sector tackle digital service design challenges. If you are interested in understanding how flexible funding models and tailored support can help charities with limited budgets, resources and time frames achieve impactful digital transformation, please join us for what promises to be a lively and informative session.
In this event, we hear from eight of the cohort’s charities – Alexandra Rose Charity; AVA; Bipolar UK; DeafKidz International; Hestia; Ruils; stem4 and The Mix (YouthNet) – as well as the funders, coaches, and support partners Founders and Coders, Snook and Doteveryone.
