Chairperson for Mid & East Mental Health Stakeholder Group
The Independent Mental Health Network (IMHN) is looking for volunteer Chairperson for area specific Mental Health Stakeholder groups. The groups provide a forum for people with lived experience, service providers and commissioners to discuss how mental health services are delivered locally. Stakeholder group Chairs must have personal experience of mental ill-health/mental illness or have experience as a carer of someone with mental ill-health/mental-illness. The meetings are held currently monthly (by video conference at the moment because of the pandemic) between 10.00am an 11.00am but soon hope to be in person.
IMHN is part of the Surrey
Coalition of Disabled People. There are two Mental Health
Stakeholder Groups, one is for NW Surrey and the other one is the East &
Mids Stakeholder Group which will feed back to the IMHN which covers the whole
of Surrey and NE Hants.
