Home-Start Elmbridge is a local charity supporting around 150 families each year with one-to-one weekly support enhanced by specialist services. We are looking for a committed volunteer who enjoys working and adapting to a changing environment to act as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the charity. The charity is progressive in ensuring services continue to support families, continuously adapting.
The position would suit an individual who enjoys being part of the Elmbridge community and becoming involved in local initiatives to enhance family life.
A well-established charity (since 2000 in Elmbridge and over 30 years in the UK), Home-Start provides an excellent source of policies and training to support governance and delivery of service. In addition, a continuing quality assurance programme.
What skills do I need?
This position would be suit a person with the following

When can I volunteer?
This role will vary but looking at an average of 10 hours per week. Our offices are based in Walton on Thames but the role will be predominantly home based
