Club treasurer
Be part of a thriving local canoe club that is going from strength to strength following the completion of its new facilities in 2021. Addlestone Canoe Club offers fantastic facilities supporting its own members and other community groups with something for everyone who is looking to have some fun on the water.
They are looking for support with some of the core work involved in running the club including a treasurer. If you’re looking to be part of a club that is really supporting the local community, this could be a great role for you. You don't need to have canoe experience yourself (although it's quite possible you'll be very tempted to get out there and have a go).
As treasurer, you'll need a few hours spare each week to keep the books up to date and support with some banking tasks. Demands can fluctuate through the year with April to August the busiest period while September to December is quieter.
What skills do I need?
- Existing accounting experience preferable (financial qualifications are a bonus)
- Excellent numeracy skills
- IT literate (familiarity with QuickBooks and WebCollect ideal)
