The Children’s Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury. Come and join our team of over 1000 dedicated volunteers who support us in the vital work that we do, to give children with brain injury the best life possible.  We support the children and young people in many ways including rehabilitation, education and care.

We are looking for reasonably fit and active people who like to get out and about, collecting and renewing charity boxes for The Children's Trust and also developing relationships with local businesses and organisations.

Our collection boxes help us raise over £50,000 a year, you could help support The Children's Trust by joining our enthusiastic team of collection box volunteers.

What will the role involve?

  • Placing and renewing collection boxes in suitable locations with the collection box coordinator
  • Speaking about the work of The Children’s Trust and the difference the money will make
  • As we are a small team there may be other tasks to get involved with, such as assisting in counting or maybe cleaning and relabelling boxes
  • When fully trained and confident you may be required to go out and collect with another volunteer
  • You may also need to occasionally approach new businesses and ask if they would support the work we do by placing a box in their establishment

Your day would start in Tadworth (our head office) by making sure we have what we need in the van for the day, we would leave head office around 10.30am for collections a brief lunch stop (provided) back to site about 15.30pm to record and secure the boxes collected.

Free parking on site and lunch provided.
