Community Centres Volunteer
There are three vibrant community centres in Banstead, Reigate (Woodhatch) and Horley run by Reigate and Banstead Borough Council. They offer a wide range of classes and groups to the community, including older residents. They each benefit from the support of a great group of volunteers and each of the centres are always looking for new volunteers. You might be interested in sharing your passion with a group of residents and the centre can help you set up a new group. Alternatively you might be interested in helping on the reception desk or in the snack bar. Its a great way to meet others locally and giving back to others. We are more than happy to discuss what role would be most suitable for you.
What skills do I need?
We'd love people with enthusiasm for their local community and a willingness to lend a hand to join the volunteer teams. You don't need to have specific skills you will receive training for any role you take up.
