Growing Redhill is a community gardening group for Redhill and the surrounding area, which is run by a volunteer Committee of Management.
The objectives of The Community Gardening Group, which will operate within the geographic boundary of Redhill and surrounding areas, are as follows:
- To promote the gardening interests of our members
- To pass on gardening knowledge
- To use wildlife-friendly methods of gardening
- To enable individuals and groups, for example, schools in the local community, to participate in gardening activities.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to help us to carry out practical 'transformational' gardening tasks in Redhill and the surrounding area and operate demonstration gardens and spaces. The most significant of these currently, is the planters on the Merstham Station platform.
The start date for this role would be the beginning of September.
What skills do I need?
You will have gardening skills that you want to share with others.
You will be able to work as part of a small team of volunteers.

The group is small and work can be fitted around your schedule as part of a small volunteer team. It is most likely to take place during weekends and evenings in daylight.
