Disability Youth Group

← Back to search results

We are looking for a volunteer to help run our disability youth group based primarily at the Phoenix Youth Centre in Tadworth. Training and ongoing support will be provided to all volunteers.

A typical day runs from 9.30am - 4.30pm and involves range sports, social, craft and other activities. The group also works with young people to teach them vital lifeskills and enable them to take part in community activities such as trips out to the cinema, swimming, bowling etc.

Volunteers can come every week or when available so the flexibility provides a great choice for volunteers with other commitments.

The group runs on Saturdays during term time. During some school holidays there would also be scope to volunteer at the same site and other sites if interested.
