Event Planner (CSVA)
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Special Olympics Surrey (SOS) Committee in an Event Planning role. SOS provides sports training and competition all year round for people with learning difficulties aged 8 to 80 years old
We are looking for an Event Planner to join our team to:
- Research & Identify events for fundraising opportunities with local businesses and organisations from our existing supporters and to identify new supporters
- Plan and implement a an event strategy, working with volunteers to support the development of SOS
- To attend Committee Meetings (once every 6 weeks) liaising with the Committee Members

Confident to make cold call to potential supporters/donors
To attend committee meetings (usually held in Kingston & Chessington)
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
