Fundraising Events Volunteer (CSVA)
Let's put the FUN back into FUNdraising!
We are looking for a team of Fundraising volunteer’s heroes.
Who
can help for a few hours at our fundraising events we host throughout the year.
Whether it’s a weekend or evening to raise money for Brigitte Trust.
Your time will help The Brigitte Trust - an independent registered charity offering free emotional support and practical help at home to people and their families facing cancer, MND, MS, heart and lung failure and other life-threatening illness raise vital funds.
Be part of our Fundraising team to help at our fundraising events planned thorough out the year, which might be evenings or at weekends.
Tasks could include, help with setting up and packing up on the day. Running a stall, serving refreshments, Help with the sale of raffle tickets.
Ideas are always welcome, so being creative with ideas and thinking outside the box are encouraged.
What skills do I need?
The key skill is enthusiasm and a desire to support our Charity.
The role suits various
skills and availability.
Whether your skills lie in helping to organise events, setting up or packing away, running a stall or you're more creative and hands-on, you can play a vital role in helping us to raise our profile and support our Charity by volunteering within your community.
If helping on a tombola stall, on a bake sale or helping at an evening event such as a “Quiz night” with a fish and chips supper isn’t what you want to do, then another of the roles we are looking for, that you might be able to take on, include distributing collection boxes to local establishments and distributing leaflets to local Dr’s surgeries or local community centres near where you live.
