Gardener
Life Housing supports vulnerable pregnant mothers and young families by supporting them through difficult times, providing accommodation and guidance until they are ready to live independently. Make a positive difference in their lives by giving families at the housing an outdoor space they can enjoy at any time, making them feel welcome and supported. We're ideally looking for someone with a minimum of two hours per month March–September to cover the following tasks:
- Cutting grass.Â
- Planting and maintaining garden plants.Â
- Tidying the garden and removing rubbish.Â
- Maintaining the gardening equipment.Â
What skills do I need?
- A passion for gardening and a knowledge of how to use garden equipment (though formal experience isn’t needed).Â
- A friendly and helpful attitude.Â
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Â
- Patience, sensitivity, reliability, and good listening and communication skills.
