Guide A Vision Impaired Person (RB)
We are looking for a volunteer to guide visually impaired members on and off Age Concern's minibus to and from their homes.
You will join the minibus at The Horseshoe in Banstead until we arrive at Swail House in Epsom. Then after the club meeting you will complete the return journey. You are welcome to join the social club meeting, listen to free entertainment and enjoy a free home-cooked tea and attend the subsidised Christmas lunch.
What skills do I need?
- Kindness and patience
- Physical strength required
- We will provide a pamphlet on 'How to guide a vision impaired person'.
Happy to consider a volunteer over 16 if they are mature enough.
