Handyperson required to undertake:
Minor repairs of equipment; changing light bulbs; painting and decorating; routine checking of fire alarm; arranging for servicing of equipment; snow clearance; drain clearance and checking; replenish paper towels, soap and catering items; identify low stocks; meter reading; light grounds maintenance.
Identifying and reporting breakages and items in need of repair. Working with other volunteers on planned maintenance programme of work.
Assisting with fundraising events e.g jumble sales by helping to tidy and sort the storage of donated items
What skills do I need?
Useful to have a trade background such as plumbing, joinery, plastering etc. More important is to have all round practical skills and willingness to lend a hand. Would suit active retired person.Need
to live locally as useful to be on hand quickly if needed for emergency repairs
etc. Car owner/driver preferred
