Health and Well Being Volunteer
Would you like to enhance the lives of blind and partially sighted people?
We are looking for an active volunteer who can offer a few hours a week to give a visually impaired person the opportunity to be more active.
Many visually impaired people would like to get out and about and improve their general fitness.
We need someone to accompany them to the gym, the swimming pool, for a walk or for some other activity. This may also include group activities with other volunteers such as ten pin bowling.
No previous experience or training with visually impaired people is needed, simply a volunteer who is lively, motivated and inspiring.
Times are flexible.
The location is Central Epsom.
What skills do I need?
No formal qualifications are needed but the volunteer needs to have common sense, to be aware of the needs of visually impaired people and have a caring nature.
