Food Preparation Volunteer (CSVA)
Cook4care provide healthy, home cooked, nutritious meals that can be delivered to the homes of young carers and their families
We are looking for good team members to help with the preparation and cooking of nutritious meals for Young Carers.
We make 30 meals a day and package them ready to be delivered to young carers and their families by our team of delivery drivers.
This role is a kitchen role, chopping, cooking, washing and clearing up between the hours of 7am and 10am Monday to Thursday. We work in small teams and would require you for one session weekly or fortnightly.
What skills do I need?
Being a good team member and willing to take on any task in a kitchen team is vital to this volunteer role.
You do not need to have a lot of cooking experience, but we are looking for people with initiative who can manage a task well on their own, and with support.
A Food Hygiene Certificate is required, which we will provide the training for.
