Youth Mentor -Epsom & Mole Valley (CSVA)

If you have an hour or two a week to spare, Surrey Care Trust would love to hear from you.
As a volunteer mentor you would motivate and support 11 to 16 year olds who struggling in life .
If you are a good listener, have time for teenagers and can earn their respect then this role is for you
We are looking for Early Help Mentors and also for our new project in partnership with CAMHS - Wellbeing Mentors to provide one to one support for young people with mental health
difficulties
Full training is provided for this role (it is essential you complete)
What skills do I need?
Sense of humour and common sense.
Patience.
Able to communicate effectively with young people.
Has some knowledge of current issues relating to young people
