NOVA Club Volunteer (CSVA)
We are looking for volunteers to offer caring and sensitive support to NOVA Club members by encouraging participation in the activities as appropriate.
To help prepare for activities including setting up, tidying away, cleaning etc., as required.
To develop self-esteem and confidence of Club members and to work to empower Club members to make their own decisions.
Club - Wednesdays - 18:45 - 21:15
What skills do I need?
Preferred experience: Working with vulnerable adults, people with learning and/or physical disabilities; organising recreational activities/sporting events.
Skills: Able to interact well with people with diverse needs; an understanding of a range of learning disabilities.
