Occasional Events Volunteer (TD)

Volunteers are needed to help organise fundraising activities and collections in the Tandridge community. Normally shifts are two to three hours at a time. We are looking for many people with different skills from marketing, event planning and advertising to practical help with equipment. Anyone interested in helping run stalls at events, putting up gazebos, sourcing prizes/ free stuff, get in touch. We have a role to suit you!

Or you can get involved in supporting an event or organising one of your own, with help and guidance from our fundraising office. This is in addition to supporting the charities major fundraising campaigns such as the Great Daffodil Appeal and Blooming Great Tea Party. Raise money and awareness for the services Marie Curie provide whilst making good friends along the way and having lots of fun too.

What skills do I need?

Good people skills, friendly with common sense and cheerful.

Practical considerations; All events take place in the Tandridge District.  As part of running an event this could involve in setting up a stand.
