Recorder (CSVA)
Each week on a Thursday evening, a team of 3 Readers gather to read articles from the Dorking Advertiser for the production of the Talking Newspaper for the visually impaired.
A Recorder is responsible for ensuring that the digital recording is made properly and leaves the files on the computer ready for the duplicator to copy on to the USB sticks.
Although this happens each week, on average each Recorder is called upon about once every six weeks and is needed from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm.
