Activities Assistant (CSVA)
Independent Living Services is based at Dorincourt, just outside Leatherhead. We provide a residential care service for people with complex physical disabilities and learning disabilities.
We actively encourage our residents personal interests and aspirations and do all we can to facilitate them.
Do you have a hobby or something you enjoy, like painting, cooking or gardening which you would be happy to do with our residents? Do you enjoy sports or current affairs and could talk through the papers or football results, play cards, a board game or help research things on the computer?
Or perhaps, you would be happy to assist in one of our organised activities or accompany someone to the shops or a hospital appointment?
If this sounds appealing, please get in touch!
We need volunteers who can regularly commit to the same time each week and anticipate being available for a minimum of 3 months.
What skills do I need?
