Rhymetime volunteer - Chertsey Library

Chertsey Library is looking to re-instate Rhymetime sessions for babies and toddlers on either Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday mornings. These are fun, interactive, and noisy sessions based on sharing nursery rhymes, action songs and percussion music. It’s a great opportunity for mums to get together and support their baby’s development and learning.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Plan the Rhyme Time session
  • Help set up the area
  • Welcome parents and their children
  • Hand out instruments and song sheets
  • Encourage participation of parents and carers
  • Clean instruments
  • Clear up after the session

Availability Details

Session will run on either Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday morning depending on volunteer availability. Sessions run for half an hour but volunteer will need to available for an hour to allow for set up and clearing away.
