Trustee Vacancies - Minutes Secretary

Camberley Care Trust provides elderly, disabled and vulnerable members of the community with the practical help they need to live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible.  A charitable organisation, powered by volunteers and run by a Board of volunteer Trustees, we have been caring for and providing help to residents in Camberley and Frimley for more than 40 years.  More details can be found on our website at

We currently have a vacancy for a volunteer to join our Board of Trustees as a Minute Secretary. The main Secretary tasks include:

·         Planning meeting dates, booking rooms, sending out notifications, minutes, and other papers.

·         Drawing up agendas together with the Chair(s).

·         Minute committee meetings, typing up minutes and sending to Chair(s) for input and approval.

·         Accurately record decisions and actions in the minutes.

·         Management of all Camberley Care details on the Charity Commission website.

·         Management and administration of the Camberley Care Dropbox account.

What skills do I need?

This is a completely voluntary, unpaid role but, given the increasing levels of support Camberley Care Trust provides to the local community, is highly rewarding and satisfying. This position would particularly suit someone who is retired or semi-retired.

If you might consider supporting our work by sparing a little time, we would truly like to hear from you.
