Self-Help Group Facilitator - Let's Talk Epsom (CSVA)
Love Me Love My Mind is a small registered charity based in Epsom Surrey which aims to promote better understanding of mental health and to support the well-being of everyone in the community.
Talk Epsom is a weekly self-help group for people experiencing anxiety and
depression. For any group to be effective it needs skillful facilitation
and attendees need to feel safe and supported.
We are looking for a volunteer to help with facilitating the Group.
What skills do I need?
Whilst we are not looking for qualified counsellors, an understanding of mental health concerns is essential as those attending may be in a difficult place and feeling vulnerable.
We are also looking for some one with effective listening and communication skills.
Experience of facilitating groups would be ideal.
