Sports Coach (RB)
The Reigate and Banstead Community Games* are being held for 5 weeks from 26th July in Horley, Merstham, Tadworth and Redhill. The free programme will specifically target young people in school years 5 - 8 who are from the most deprived wards in the borough, to inspire them to get back into sport after the pandemic.
We're looking for volunteers to support our sports sessions for the following activities for 1 hour per week. (Times and dates TBC depending on the volunteers availability).
- Football (Horley, Redhill)
- Basketball (Horley, Redhill, Tadworth)
- Table Tennis (Preston, Horley)
- Frisbee (Merstham)
- Biking/ Cycling (Merstham)
- Dodgeball (Tadworth)
Volunteers do not need to have coaching/ sport qualifications but must be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate through the Council.
We're looking for enthusiastic, positive and motivating volunteers to inspire the young people to continue being active after the programme.
