Surrey Heath Show Committee Members (SH)
We are looking for new blood to join our committee to plan the 2023 show and bring in new ideas and enthusiasm. Volunteers not able to make the meetings can still be involved so get in touch to find out more.
The Surrey Heath Show is an annual community event held at Frimley Lodge Park in May, designed to offer fun for all the family at the same time as raising vital funding for local community groups. It is entirely organised by volunteers. Getting involved is a great way to give back to the local community - and have fun!
We usually meet monthly from September to June during the day usually by zoom.
Planning for the show starts in the autumn building up to the show day in May. Next show will be in May 2023.
What skills do I need?
We need new lively members for our committee to assist in the organisation and smooth running of the show. Local knowledge useful.
Experience in PTA, office/work skills, retired people with experience, working people, enthusiasm and energy.
We are particularly interested in event management experience.
