Volunteer Delivery Driver
SCDP are supplying tech devices to Surrey residents who are disabled, have mental health illness, or have a caring responsibility. Some require dedicated support but many simply require a device to enable better communication and to alleviate loneliness and isolation. We need a Volunteer Driver to deliver devices in Surrey to people who join the project. A Volunteer Tech Angel will then set up the device to get them started and provide on going support as required.
45p per mile expenses reimbursed. 5-10 deliveries a week are anticipated for the whole project.
This role can be very flexible to suit a volunteer’s availability.
What skills do I need?
Driving licence and vehicle required. Understanding of Covid 19 PPE essential.
