Tour Guide (CSVA)
The Just Bring Yourself experience is a
fun, sustainable tourism package for visitors seeking well-being through a great
day out walking in the Box Hill area
We need people of all ages who enthusiastically convey to visitors through fascinating local geography and natural history, their passion for the natural environment.
This is an opportunity for people who love explaining and educating people (children, families, adults) in what makes the Surrey Hills so valuable.
This is a volunteering role on a part time basis and most likely at weekends. Current dates requiring volunteers are from 10am-5pm on:
19 November and other dates to be confirmed.
What skills do I need?
A passion for the environment is essential and willingness to lead people on a walk up and down hills, sometimes for up to 4 hours a day. Maybe you have studied or are studying biological sciences or maybe theatre!
If you are the kind of person who likes building on your knowledge of local history, local geography and local wildlife and plant life then this is the ideal role for you.
Maybe you want to see people’s wellbeing helped by being outdoors and want to find a practical way to support that
People of all backgrounds are welcome to apply to join our group of engaging guides. Full training to be given.
Photography skills and experience in social media are two areas in which we need volunteers too.
