Treasurer for Churches Together in Dorking (CSVA)
The role has been held by current incumbent for a number of years and is now moving away from Dorking. The role is principally one of bookkeeping and reconciliation , and requires good computer skills, familiarity with standard work place software e.g. Excel, Google sheets, Word etc. Banking will shortly be moving online to facilitate payments. Movement through the account is modest with small sums being dealt with through petty cash at the Food Bank. There are quarterly trustee meetings which the Treasurer will be expected to attend with an up-to-date financial position. These are usually held in the evenings after working hours.

What skills do I need?
Accountancy qualification or similar is not essential however applicant must be competent with figures and general bookkeeping principals.
Computer skills essential as indicated above.

Flexible - Home working No specific times except for quarterly Trustee meetings usually held in the evening after work hours.
