Treasurer (RB)

Our Treasurer can be a woman or man over the age of 18 who can manage the finances of a Rainbow, Brownie or Guide unit. This role would also be in a position to assist the leader in claiming Gift Aid annually.

This is an ideal role for anyone who is able to do accounts and who cannot help regularly but would like to become involved as time allows.

Girlguiding UK has developed a unit accounts pack to help if required.

Treasurers agree to abide by Girlguiding UK\'s policies and rules.

All Treasurers will be subject to a DBS check by Girlguiding.

To manage the unit accounts and to ensure that they are audited on an annual basis to comply with the Charities Commission.

  • To assist the leader in budgeting for activities, outings etc.
  • To carry out the processes required to claim gift aid.
  • To support the unit leader with the running costs.
  • Have fun.

What skills do I need?

To help the unit leader in managing the unit accounts and assist with the budgeting process. Work from home or designated venues.
