Reigate Community Counselling Centre (RCCC) established in January 2012 is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) Registered Charity No 1154986.
It’s aims are to provide counselling to adults and advance their emotional and spiritual mental health and general well-being. This is primarily from rented rooms at the Reigate Community Centre. All our counsellors have a Christian Faith, but the counselling is secular in delivery, particular as most clients would not identify as Christian or of having any faith.
RCCC is self-funded by client contributions. Our aim is that finances will not be a barrier to obtaining counselling support.
There are currently Four trustees who meet bi-annually and by additional committees as appropriate. RCCC is seeking an additional Trustee to strengthen and support the Trustee board. The skills sought need not be counselling related provided that the person is supportive of the Centre’s aims.
What skills do I need?
An awareness of the the role and expectation of Charity Trustees, with a background in financial, legal, marketing or well-being including health services. A counselling background is not required provided that the person is supportive of the aims of the service and shares the desire to develop the service and maintain its professional obligations.
