Unit Helper (SP)

Unit Helpers can be females or males aged over 18 who give their time and skills to support a unit. Support may involve:

- Working with small group of young people.

- Helping in the preparation of unit records.

- Helping in the preparation of Financial records for the unit.

- Helping to provide a safe environment for the girls and others working with the units.

Unit helpers agree to abide by Girl guiding's policies and rules.

Unit helpers are adult Members of Girl guiding. They receive benefits such as Guiding Magazine and can wear the new membership badge and items from the adult clothing range. As members, female unit helpers can make the Promise and wear the Promise.

Unit helpers must complete the Girl guiding recruitment checks.

Girl Guiding Staines District is made up of four Rainbow Units - Seven Brownie Units - Four Guide Units - One Senior Section Units - All meeting at various venues in Staines.
