About The Children’s Trust: The Children’s Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury. Come and join our team of dedicated volunteers who support us in the vital work that we do, to give children with brain injury the best life possible. Our school is a non-maintained special school, supporting children and young people aged 2-19 with a wide range of needs including complex education, health, therapy and care requirements.

How you’ll be helping: We are looking for a highly organised, proficient, proactive and reliable volunteer to provide administrative support to the Professional Excellence, Training & Learning team based in The Children’s Trust School

What you’ll be doing:

  • Understanding and maintaining National College Platform
  • Monitor and record mandatory and other identified training
  • Produce monthly compliance reports
  • Upload training resources from Access to National collate Platform
  • Set up watch lists for staff and monitor compliance
  • Co-ordinate and provide administrative support for Inset Days
  • Booking staff onto training following agreed staff cover with Deputy Head.
  • Prepare delegate lists for training and uploading data onto National College Platform.

What skills do I need?

  • Experience of working on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation, communication and writing skills
  • An understanding of the importance of professionalism and confidentiality
  • IT/Computer proficient, experience of using databases
  • Flexibility
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
