Volunteer Board Directors
Board Directors provide strategic leadership to the organisation, and challenge to the executive team, to achieve the best result for Disabled people in Surrey. Board Directors are expected to contribute their expertise at board meetings and can also choose to become active members of a sub-committee.
We are specifically looking for those with skills and experience in communications, fundraising, legal, marketing, strategic leadership, or volunteer management.

What skills do I need?
Lived experience as a disabled person, or as a carer
for a disabled person, is very much an advantage

When can I volunteer?
Start Date: 28/10/2021
End Date: 27/10/2022
Board Meetings (2 hours) on a bi-monthly basis, possible bi-monthly sub-committee meetings if they choose to join one – so altogether, about 2/3 hours per month. Meetings are usually in working hours but they can always be joined remotely by Zoom (they are all remote at the moment).
