Walk Leaders (RB)
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people to train as walk leaders to assist on our walks across Surrey.
We offer a range of walks (from 45 to 90 minutes) in various, mainly rural, locations. The walks take place in the mornings usually between 10.30am and 11am and walks range between 1.5 miles and 4.5 miles. An ideal volunteering opportunity that requires little time and full training through Walking For Health is offered (dates TBC). Being a volunteer with us is a great way to get out, get fit and make new friends!
We are particularly looking for extra leaders for our Coal Tax walk which
operates from The Chequers Pub, Walton on the Hill, every Tuesday and for our
Banstead Trail, from Pistachios in the Park, Banstead, every Friday (both
morning walks). And extra help is needed for their Mary Frances Trust, Epsom Downs walk on Thursdays at 11am for approx an hour each week.
What skills do I need?
Sociable, reliable, flexible and with a reasonable level of fitness. Good communication skills. Various mainly rural locations in East Surrey. Their next training is TBC.
