Activity Volunteer (SH)
Disability Initiative is an established charity specialising in the provision of services to adults with physical disabilities and acquired brain injury.
Our volunteers are integral to the service we provide to our clients.
Within the daily programme of activities and courses they help support our clients both in group sessions and on a one to one basis. Our volunteers might help clients in cookery, computer sessions or in accessing the community, or aid administration and management with specific tasks.
Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds offering a huge array of skills and experience which are invaluable to DI and make a significant difference to the charity. We operate from a central purpose-built centre that offers a fully accessible environment with easy access to Camberley town centre.
