Welcomer and cafe volunteer
We are looking for friendly & patient volunteers to help in the running of the new Memory Cafe. This project aims to provide a relaxed environment for people living with dementia and their carers and potentially to move to day trips in the future.
Volunteers would mingle with clients to socialise and help with refreshments.
What skills do I need?
Positive attitude to dementia, experience of caring for someone with dementia an asset.
Happy and cheerful people to bring a smile to clients' faces.
Flexible approach as the project progresses.
