Young Mental Health Champion - Ambassador (RB)

YMCA East Surrey are looking for an individual, aged 16 to 25 years, to act as an ambassador to raise awareness of mental health and to lead a fortnightly support and discussion group, working alongside students and young people experiencing mental health issues. The role will later open up opportunities to liaise and speak within schools and colleges, raising awareness of mental health and the profile of the group. 

What skills do I need?

We are looking for an individual with an interest in mental health, either through studies, their profession or personal experience that can relate and empathise with the young people accessing the group. The individual must also be confident in terms of public speaking and be aged between 16-25.
