Choir Assistant - Redhill
A community choir with a difference!
We are a choir for people with and without communication or learning difficulties - we use Makaton signs and other inclusive communication techniques when we sing and rehearse. We are looking for volunteers to generally assist at our Choir sessions. The role will include:
*Helping set up and tidy away resources.
*Assisting with refreshments.
*Welcoming new choir members.
*Assisting in organisation for performances.
*Joining in the fun!
*Attending online choir sessions to provide support (make notes of attendees and keep an eye on activity) on Zoom, Facebook Live or Instagram sessions.
What skills do I need?
- No previous experience or qualifications required.
- A can-do attitude.
- Acceptance of all people regardless of needs & abilities.
- Unfortunately, the Include Choir is not currently able to reimburse volunteers for travel to and from choir sessions.

Availability Details
Time commitments: Weekly Sessions, 7.30pm -9pm on Wednesdays, if you can attend as many sessions as possible. The Choir runs for 3 x 12 week terms over a year. There is also a Facebook live session at 8pm on a Sunday evening for half an hour.
